The Magnus Ladulås Race is one of Sweden's most enjoyable races, taking place on Adelsö, where the Viking chieftains once lived. This year, 148 runners participated, of which 91 ran the 10K and 57 took part in the children's race. Adelsö is rich in historical sites, including Viking graves, and this year the Alsnö Vikings contributed to creating a Viking theme for the race. They managed the start and had a mead checkpoint with 800 meters to go, where they shouted "mead or death."
